Supported and introduced by the corporate volunteering platform On Hand, Family Journeys are delighted to have recently welcomed a few team members from Baringa, Edinburgh to give our little outdoor city oasis, some fresh love. Sadly, our little Gorgie children’s garden was vandalised last year, and it had begun to look really sad over the winter months as it wasn’t being used. Fast forward to March 2025, parachute in some enthusiastic and willing volunteers, a few cans of paint, lots of mud and plants and we have our little city oasis back into action in time for the spring sunshine.
Thank you Joanna, Jo, Caitlin, Tom, Bernice, Esther and Charles, from all of us at Family Journeys and all of our families. We can’t wait to show the children and young people their new space and get using it again to build some more family time special memories
